For Parents/Mentors

Did you know that college graduates are more likely to stay employed, buy houses, marry, pay taxes, avoid welfare, commit fewer crimes, volunteer for socially useful causes, vote, be happier and healthier, and live longer? And over their lifetime, studies have shown that — on average — college graduates earn $2 million in wages (that’s more than $1 million more than high school graduates make).

Helping students go to and graduate from college is an investment that does pay off. If you’re a Parent or Mentor looking to help a student go to college, the pages below will help you connect with the resource you need.

To connect with other Parents and Mentors become a Graduation Coach! Graduation Coaches attend a two hour workshop on coaching students through high school and on to college and careers. The Graduation Coach Campaign also provides opportunities for Coaches to network with each other, and participate in fun activities with their young person.
